James Williard

James Williard has been teaching Ballroom dancing for over 15 years.  He began in Wilmington, NC at the local Fred Astaire Dance Studio.  After falling in love with competitive Ballroom dancing he moved to Clearwater, FL to continue his study of this wonderful sport with some of the top dancers in the country.  While in Clearwater, James met Andrea Barnova and competed with Andrea for 10 years.  Together they have won and medaled at many competitions, including a bronze medal at USA Nationals. They were named Triple Crown Champions,FADS National Champions and they are The World Masters Finalist.

-2007 World Cup finalist

1998 to 2007 competed and medaled at many Dancesport competitions (FADS competitions 1998-2000, NDCA 2000-2007: Florida Superstars, Herritage classic, Southern States Dancesports, Philadelphia Festival, Emerald Ball, Atlanta Open, Yankee Classic, Millennium Dancesport, Manhattan Dancesport, Volunteer State dance Challenge, Embassy Ball, Florida Fire and Ice, Capital Dancesport, Sarasota Classic, Gator Classic, First coast Classic, Hotlanta Dance Challenge, Empire State Dancesport, Ohio Star Ball and more)

James also dances Pro/Am with several of his students in competition. Some of his students have gone on to win several United States titles as well as top students in many of the SouthEastern Dance Competitions.

James since then has moved to the North Denver area where he is now teaching as an independant dance instructor as well as teaching group classes in several locations.

Dances offered are: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, Bolero, Mambo, West Coast Swing, Hustle, and Salsa.
